DAVID GEORGE MANUCHIAMr. Manuchia is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Restaurant Partners, Inc., a restaurant operations and consulting company based in Orlando, Florida. Restaurant Partners specializes in consulting on all aspects of the restaurant industry, as well as restaurant ownership and management. The company was founded in 1992 and oversees annual sales of about $12 million with 8 different restaurant properties. Brands operated by Restaurant Partners include Sloppy Joe's (licensee of the famous Key West company), Market Street Café and Upper Crust Pizza (Tenants of The Walt Disney World Corporation) and Grille 29. Prior to starting Restaurant Partners, Mr. Manuchia was an executive with Darden Restaurants, where he was one of the founding members of The Olive Garden Italian Restaurant chain. Dave had a successful 11 year career with Darden Restaurants, and was awarded the annual Chairman's Award for Outstanding Achievement on three separate occasions. Dave has been an active member of the Central Florida non-profit community during his 22 years in Orlando. In addition to being a past member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Historical Society, Dave has served on the Board of The Second Harvest Food Bank, and was President of that Board for two years. He also serves on the Finance Committee of the Good Shepherd School Board. Additionally, he was appointed to Orlando City of Light committee, and through his company, contributes to a myriad of non profit organizations throughout Central Florida. Dave was also named one of Orlando's "100 Most Influential People" by The Orlando Business Journal in 2002. Restaurant Partners was named to Inc. Magazine's "500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America" in both 2002 and again in 2003. ERIC SHEENEric Sheen is the Vice President of Operations for Restaurant Partners, Inc., overseeing the day to day operations of the eight existing restaurants in the RPI lineup. He and his opening team also plan, execute and oversee the opening of all new operations throughout the country. Eric has been the lead "on-site" guy for openings in Park City, Utah, Treasure Island, Florida, Tampa and Orlando He has been a member of management with the company for six years. As a 26 year resident of Central Florida, Eric started his career as a commercial pilot and flew charters around the country. He started his restaurant career as a bartender and has been successful at every level from Server to General Manager, Director and now VP of Operations. His interest in the restaurant business has extended to the area of wines and he and his wife Heather visit the Napa Valley region often to keep the wine lists of the Restaurant Partners properties current. Along with Operating Partner, Rick Keefer, Eric developed the wine list for RPI's newest venture, Grille 29, in downtown Tampa. Through his tireless efforts and keen attention to details, Eric has earned an equity stake in Restaurant Partners to go along with his position as a corporate officer of the restaurant operations and consulting company.
